Markham Restoration did a WONDERFUL job on my slipper chair, which badly needed re-covering. I have already gotten several compliments on the chair. Service was friendly, fast and the price was reasonable.

I needed to have a large window seat cushion made so I looked on the computer and found Markham Restoration. I called Jeff on the phone giving him measurements for what I needed and he quickly gave me a price that I thought was more than fair. The location of his business is in Irving and I live in Plano, after talking to him about the distance I would have to travel, he told me he lives in Plano and would be happy to pick up the fabric and foam I had for making the cushion and he offered to deliver the finished product when completed. Wow, talk about service, the window seat cushion turned out beautiful , the work was very well done, I was so happy with the overall experience. I appreciate the 1st class job and the fact that he went the extra mile offering to pick up and deliver my cushion on his way home. I will without a doubt be a repeat customer and recommend this company to anyone needing upholstery.

I found Markham Restoration (Upholstery) on the web and contacted the owner about recovering two pieces of furniture in a time crunch. Not only was he willing to complete the job in our time frame, the work was extremely well done and the prices could not be beat. I have since taken another chair and have had the same friendly, helpful, professional service. I haven’t hesitated to recommend them to friends and family.

We purchased a custom sample sofa that had been reupholstered, along with an antique claw foot settee, and had a chair reupholsted for my husband’s office. Their work is exceptional and the quality is beyond compare. The couch is our signature piece in our formal living and everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is. The owner was very professional and worked with us on our fabric choices as well as listened to our budget constraints and stayed within them, which was very much appreciated!

Markham Upholstery reupholstered an antique 3 piece settee for me. I was pleased with their quality, speed, and professionalism. I get many compliments and I will definitely use them in the future!

Just got a slipper chair reupholstered by Markham. Fast, friendly and reasonably-priced service — the chair looks great! I also appreciated Jeff, who answered all of my questions and gave me an estimate by e-mail (after I sent him photos of the project).

Talk about service! I took him up on his offer and I’m so glad I did, the cushion turned out beautiful. Working with Jeff at Markham Upholstery was a pleasure and I plan on being a repeat customer, without a doubt. I also plan to recommend this company to everyone I know who is looking for an upholstery company that has fair prices good quality work and goes the extra mile. A first class company!

Custom Sofa & Love Seat Conversion.
[Editorial] We modified and upholstered an existing sofa and loveseat extensively for “Sue R.” in March of 2008. We converted them into a sectional with a chaise lounge – extensive frame modifications. We made a number of additional custom modifications – deleted the skirt, added turned wood legs, changed the arm style into a beautiful rolled arm with a sloped front, removed half of the back of the loveseat to create the chaise… It was a major project.
